How to find us

Kyela is reachable from Dar es Salam by:-

1. Scheduled flights from Dar to Mbeya(Songwe) airport.The duration of the flight is approx. 1 hour 35 minutes. Airlines include: Fastjet which has 2 flights daily to and fro and PrecisionAir which fly regularly.  The drive by taxi from Mbeya is 1 hour 30 minutes.

2. Bus from the Ubungo bus Terminal daily. The New Force, Hood and Sai Baba,Rungwe Express,Kyela Express and Melkizedek buses leave at 06.00 a.m. The drive is 12 hours long passing directly through the Mikumi and Udzungwa National Parks.

     
3. TAZARA train, Dar es Salaam to Mbeya and shuttle bus to Kyela. The Express train departs Dar at 

4.Other than from Dar es Salaam, Kyela can be reached from anywhere in Tanzania and transport can be arranged.

On the way to Kyela from Dar there is a lot to enjoy on transit.  This includes the Mikumi national Park in Morogoro, The Ruaha National park in Iringa, The Selous Game Reserve, The Udzungwa National Park as well as Kitulo National Park.

Kyela is accessible from both Malawi and Zambia by bus, train, or car.
